“SOLID AIR” vol. 1 Performance „Mitternachtsguss“ Kunstgiesserei St. Gallen, Museumsnacht 2015. Für den Mitternachtsguss der Kunstgiesserei St. Gallen, entwickle ich mit der Kunstgiesserei zusammen einen Bronzeguss mit 6 Holzblockflöten. Während des Gusses werden sie zum Klingen gebracht bevor die Bronze den Innenraum der Blockflöten ausgiesst. //////////////////////// “SOLID AIR” vol. 1, performance, “midnight casting“ Kunstgiesserei St. Gallen, Museumsnight 2015. For the “midnight casting” I produce togehter with the Kunstgiesserei bronze castings of 6 wooden flutes. The melted bronze was poured into the sound chambers of the flutes creating a cast of the space where once sound travelled. Before the bronze touched the inside of the flutes, air travelled through the chambers creating different tones.

“SOLID AIR” vol. 2, Ensemble aus 7 Bronzeobjekte und einem Wandrelief, Dimension ca. 50 x 100 x 70 cm, 2015 Aus den Gussteilen entstehen zwei Objektgruppen: ein Ensemble mit den Innenflöten und Teilen des gusstechnischen Luftkanals sowie ein Wandrelief der ausgetretenen Bronzespucke der Blockflöten. ////////////////////////////“SOLID AIR” vol. 2, ensemble of 7 Bronze objects and 1 wall piece From the parts casted, I present 2 groups: A collection of the bronze casted inner air channel space of the flutes and a wall piece from the “bronze spit” from the flute casting process.
